Student with Livestock

Stainke Intermediate is proud to recognize student Jax Feaster for his outstanding performance at the recent South Texas Agricultural Roundup (STAR) 4-H Livestock Show, where he competed with his pig Bevo and earned 4th place in his category.

This marks Jax’s third year showing pigs as a junior member of the Donna FFA chapter. He has been preparing and raising Bevo since August, dedicating months of hard work, responsibility, and care. Preparing for a livestock show requires daily feeding, training, and mastering proper showmanship skills. Through this experience, Jax has developed valuable life skills such as perseverance, time management, leadership, and commitment.

Competing in 4-H also promotes confidence, sportsmanship, and pride in agricultural education. Jax represented Stainke Intermediate with excellence, demonstrating both strong character and determination throughout the STAR show. He will continue his competitive journey at the Rio Grande Livestock Show in March during spring break.

We congratulate Jax Feaster on this impressive accomplishment and commend him for representing our school and community so well. We look forward to seeing his continued success in future 4-H events!
